A FREE EXERCISE TO RELAX

Yoga Nidra literally means "yogic sleep." However, contrary to what the name suggests, it has nothing to do with sleeping. It is a guided deep relaxation practice intended to bring your body and mind to a state of calmness by slowing down and releasing tension. During Yoga Nidra, your awareness is between wakefulness and sleep, a state you typically only reach during deep sleep. It has the same restorative effects as several hours of deep sleep.

Deep rest is one of the most essential aspects of self-care. Yoga nidra or guided relaxation can help alleviate the pressures of the day and be as restorative as a few hours of deep sleep. You can practice it in the evening for a better night's rest or at any point during the day when you need a refreshing break.
